Our 1/2 mile hike

Someone that we were with that loves Utah and not BYU read the map that it was a 1/2 mile hike out to delicate arch. We can do that with three kids and four adults right?Grandpa Whitaker made up a song :

"We're on the trail, me and you

to see the magic rainbow."

It worked Katelyn and Robert made it to the top of the big Rock! We were pretty sure the hike was longer than a 1/2 mile at this point, but it couldn't be much further right?

When we got back the the van we checked the map and it was a 3 mile hike there...So our little half mile hike turned into a 6 mile hike. I think we will wait a few years before trying that hike again!
