10 Years Ago:
I was a junior in high school looking forward to my senior year. GO BRUINS! I did go to Hawaii over Thanksgiving with my family. Yum! that was a meal that we still remember. Robbie--left for his mission July of '98.

Break more things, because I could just replace them (fyi...broken item of the week digital camera.)

Blogging and checking email when I should be doing other things like cleaning
Drink too much soda
I found a new love, dark chocolate. It gets even better when surrounded by a peanut or is heart shaped with a peppermint filling. mmmmm.... brb

My kids, lunch group every Thursday, date nights with Robbie and reading blogs

Things people don't know about me:
I have Brady Bunch on my DVR (it is for the middle of the night feedings with the baby.)
Recently, I have gone from a hate to love relationship with dark chocolate.
I love to cook, especially when you add lots of butter and sugar to it.
I make yogurt for my kids.

Robbie's Second Job

Tuesday morning our washing machine broke. I like to do all my wash on Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I don't have piles of clothes around waiting to be folded or put away. Luckily, we live close to Teri and I was able to do some wash there yesterday. Today I am headed out for my lunch group at my friends house and will do a few loads there. Going to a laundromat with three kids and a ton of laundry is just not a blog I even want to write about! Not to mention the who washed what last story.. SO ROBBIE IS AMAZING! Before we called a repair man, Robbie wanted to look at the washing machine first. Last night he found something inside that everyone should know about. It was some nice information tucked away inside the washer (or was it dryer-I'll have to double check with Robbie.) Inside this envelope was information about doing the diagnostic testing for the washer and what the different codes meant on the washer. Also, a schematic sheet with more detail of the parts for the washer. In short Robbie figured out what was wrong with our washer. And now we get to decide if Robbie can replace the part of if we should shell a few hundred dollars and call a repair man.

To Share Bear

We had a fun weekend with Aunt Sharon visiting. Katelyn on the way home started to cry, "but I don't want Sharon to go on the airplane, I want her to stay here." Sharon was kind to read Katelyn bedtime stories while she was here. Some of the most memorable parts of the weekend could be...Robert getting back in the filled bathtub with his pajamas on. Watching the American Gladiators finale. Eating a yummy dinner that Teri fixed us on Sunday. Katelyn eating only the top of the cupcake and frosting. Wasn't there a Seinfield episode on that? Having Nate and Tara over...we are happy to have them close for a few months. We loved having Sharon stay with us and hope she will come again!

Toasty Toes and Roses

There is almost nothing better than a nice cozy pair of slippers. Robbie bought me a "Saturday prize" a few weeks ago and my toes have been toasty ever since!

For Valentines day Robbie hid six roses (one for each year we have been married,) around the house for me to find. He was creative and hid the roses in places like the microwave, silverware drawer, and the refrigerator. It took me all morning, but I finally found all six! Later that night after taking this picture...the other half of the dozen came out of hiding too.

Lucky Duck

"Tanner is a lucky duck," just ask Katelyn and she will tell you because "he has a big sister named Katelyn." Robert loves to hold Tanner even when he cries. They both are too eager to help. I have to play hide the baby not only keep him asleep, but to save him from getting his eyes poked out.
